Swamiji's' in his Madhur Vaani : (word by word)
Ab jaraa aapko murli ki ek baat aur bhi keh de…
Yeh murli mein badi khubiyan hai.
Bhagwan jab murli bajaya karte the,
To logon ko madhur to badi lagi,
Yeh bhi chahenge ki bajati hi rahe.
Par ek gadbad ho jaye….
Jab gopiya bhojan banana lage,
Udhar se Bhagwan murli bajaa de,
To sukhi lakdiya bhi behne lage,
Usme se paani behne lag.
Paani se Agnee booj jaye,
Bhala bina lakdiyon ke bhojan kaise bane,
Bhooke Pet Sona Pade, Saari Raat
To ek din Radha ke nettritav mein do Sakhiya,
Aur Sridhamaa ke nettritav mein gopal baal,
Bhagwan ke paas pratinidhi mandal gaye.
Bhagwan kaye:"Bhai kaise aaye."
Kaha: "Ek Prathna hai."
Kehte: "Kya."
"He! Madhav, jab hamari rasoi banana ka samay ho, aage peecche bhale
Bajaya karo, jab hamara randhne (to cook) ka samay ho,aise meethi sooreli
Moorli ke dwani mat kiya karo."
"TUMHARA PET DARD HOTA HAI, MURLI MEIN BAJATA HOON."
Kya karenge, sukhi lakdi hai,who bhi saras hai, woh geeli ho jati hai,
Jal ki dhara se agnee saant ho jaati hai.
"Batlao RASOI Banaye kaise"
Yeh bhai, bhagwan ki murli mein maadhurta thi ki sukhe lakdiyon mein jal bahaa
Diya karti hai…..
Now, in the above Pravachan Swamiji has mentioned about FLUTE and how
Krishna's playing of flute, inspite of mesmerizing the whole of Vrindaban,
also happens to hamper the household chores of ladies, when they prepared food.
Reason being, with the melody of flute, the wood that they used in the kitchen to burn fire,to cook food, would become WET and due to this the fire did not light in wet wood.
So, it was impossible for them to cook food, with WET wood. They would have to go to sleep on an empty stomach!
So, Radha along with gopis and Sridhama with gopal baal, comes to Shri Krishna and request HIM, not to play flute during the time when they prepared food. They told him play the flute at all other times.
Reason???????????
The sweetness in the melody of the flute made the fire-wood wet !!!
{In the Shrimad Bhagwat there is a chapter called VENU GEET where the flute is described in full detail.The word Venu means flute}
