 From time immemorial, the Holy land of India has been graced by the incarnations of blessed souls, possessing exceptional divine powers. They through their extraordinary virtues, exemplary pious way of life and noble philosophy, have inspired the contemporary humanity to emulate similar lifestyle and philosophy. Ved-Darshanachaiya Brahmaleen Swami Gangeshwaranandji Maharaj Udasin was an epitome of the above mentioned divine qualities and powers. He possessed extraordinary intellect, was pure, simple, compassionate and ever engrossed in the welfare of humanity
Swamiji travelled all over the world, delivering scholarly discourses. He wrote numerous commentaries on Samhitas (Vedas). He authored many treatises on historical and phylosophical topics.Through His divine wisdom and foresight, He analysed and refined vedic literature and compiled all the four Vedas and published them as a single book form named "Bhagwan Veda." This is a major accomplishment in the history of Hinduism and Indian literature. Swamiji established many 'maths', ashrams and educational institutions to nurture eternal religious, social and cultural values of India.
After successfully carrying out innumerable religious, social and cultural activities, Swamiji completed the worldly journey on Magh Shukla Ekadashi Samvat 2048 i.e. February 14, 1992, at an age of more than 111 years, to become one with the Supreme Soul.
To highlight the lifetime achievements of this great saint of India - A Yugpurush, and keeping His pious memories alive, a magnificent memorial has been constructed at Vrindavan (Mathura), Uttar Pardesh. On the occasion of its inaguration, a programme with multifarious activities has been organized which would comprise of several religious, social, cultural events and dedication of the memorial to humanity.
On this auspicious, occasion, Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah has been organized. One of the world famous exponent of Bhagwat, Pujya Shri Rameshbhai Ojha "Bhaishri" will conduct the Bhagwat Katha and distribute the nectar of the Gods. Along with this, there will be recitation of 108 Bhagwats by learned scholars for 108 yajmans; close disciples of Swami Gangeshwaranandji Maharaj. In addition, Ras Leelas, Yagyas and other programmes have also been planned for this occasion. Vedantacharya Mahamandaleshwar Shri Swami Govindanandji Maharaj Udasin will preside over all the functions.
